I was just getting ready for bed and I decided to get a comb and brush my hair. It felt so good. I never brush my hair anymore. I mean , I comb it out when I get out of the shower, but thats about it. Why did I stop brushing my hair? I dont think it looks bad or anything I just dont know if thats the style anymore to have Marsha Brady freshly brushed hair...or maybe it is and I am just unaware.
When I was in Jr High I used to carry a brush in my purse/backpack and I specifically remember the greasy haired girl who would ask me if she could use my brush and I told her "no" ! Lord forgive me.
Another brush story...
When I was in High school I played soccer and when we went to the play -offs I was dared to not brush my hair until we won state. So of course I did, and next thing I knew I was almost in complete dread locks, probably closer to 'dreadfull mattes' instead of locks. I remeber when people would ask what was up with my hair I would say, "Im not brushing it until we win state" and almost everyones response was , "ew". I had to explain that I still washed my hair , I just didnt brush it. I was still Clean!!! just tangled.
I am so curiouse to find out if people still brush their hair? Im not just talking about after shower brushing, I am talking about during the day brushing your already dried hair.
Do you brush your hair as often as you brush your teeth?
My aunt once told me people who have shiny hair have money.
I think I might regret posting this tomorrow.

i don't brush my hair....ever. and my husband works with high schoolers and by the looks of what is "in", it doesn't look like they brush their hair either:)
I loved this blog, Val! It made me chuckle =). I LOVE to have my hair brushed and played with and fortunately, my kiddos are usually willing to oblige. That said, I usully only give it a good brush in the morning and before bed. A thorough brushing after mousse and hairspray ends up being kind of gross =).
With my curls, I might enjoy a good brushing once a year. Oh it does feel good! I might have to dig for a brush tonight.
Pretty much only in the morning and maybe at night if my hair has been in a ponytail. I'd be the last person to know if it's in style or not. I think I do brush my teeth more than my hair right now. But I'm pregnant and can't stand my own bad breath so I'm brushing my teeth more than most.
I love this topic... I have just recently started to brush my hair in the evenings before we go somewhere because my hair is getting really long and Jason will try to run his fingers through it (not in a romantic way... ha ha... just to see if it's tangled or not). So to prove to him that I don't ALWAYS have tangled, gross hair, I brush it. However, normally, like today, it gets brushed only after my shower. I'm glad to see that other people are like me. =)
