Chipotle dead fly burrito bowl

Thats right!!!! I went to get a burrito bowl from Chipotle , came home and there was a dead fly in the guacamole. I keep gagging thinking about it. Ewww. Really. Come on Chipotle.

After a few weeks of feeling awful, I finally found my saving grace(pictured above).

Last night I finally got some sleep only waking up once in the middle of the night.

I didnt really know what was wrong with me until I was explaining it to a few people and they said it sounds like heart burn. When you have never experience heart burn you dont know you have it. Lesson learned. And thank God for Zantac!!!!!

Waiting for the first trimester to be over

I am now 7 weeks pregnant... I think. I feel awful!!!! I am finally finding something to eat/drink that makes me feel better. And that would be Saltines and peppermint tea and sometimes PB&J sandwiches. Its not just morning sickness its all day sickness that comes in waves about every 20 minutes. I feel fine and good and then all of a sudden I feel sea sick and have to lay down or close my eyes. Speaking of closing my eyes, I was at the grocery store today and was so tired and sick that I put my elbows on the cart and rested my face in my hands and took a 30 second power nap. It was worth all the looks I got when I opened my eyes. But I didn't think I could go any further with out it.
So my routine everyday is to try to be positive and eat saltines and be outside. I feel so much better with fresh air. I am so thankful that Cruz takes good naps. When I put him down for a nap I will go to my bed watch an episode of season 2 of The Cosby Show and then sleep for about an hour. Although I wake up feeling worse for some reason I know I needed the nap.

I like how I said my routine is to try to be positive but this post is pretty much all negative. Let a lady vent once in awhile, eh.
When I was pregnant with Cruz I felt so much better when week 12 was over. I CANT WAIT for week 12 to come and go. And I know Dale and Cruz cant wait for sure!!!!

Cruz turned 2

This weekend we had a birthday party in Dallas for Cruz. It was so fun and turned out great. Thanks so much to all our friends and family who helped us. We had burgers, dancing (thanks to Marc) presents and cake.
When you are the mom hosting your child's birthday party you have to really be on your game, and I was so thankful to the people who helped me make the party happen. I even forgot to give my son a piece of his own birthday cake. But I am pretty sure Barb gave him some bites.
I have a few videos but I will post those later... once I figure out how. Here are just a few pics I took, I should have had a designated Photographer. Although I am thankful Carlye was video tapping the party. enjoy
