When I get Cruz ready for bed we say goodnight to everything and everyone.

Cruz: "ni daddy"
mom: " Goodnight Grandpa"
Cruz : " ni papa"
mom: " Goodnight Nommy"
Cruz: "ni money"
mom: " Goodnight Dee dee"
Cruz: "ni dee dee"
Cruz: "ni dub" ( and then he does the rest on his own)

once he starts looking around the room for things to say "goodnight " to , I lay him in bed...Thats enough.
